Changes to instructional materials adoptions made after November 22, 2024 for Spring 2025 courses are out of compliance with UF Regulation 7.049 and Florida Board of Governors Regulation 8.003.

  • The textbook adoption system for Spring 2025 and is now available to faculty and departments to submit their textbook adoptions and materials requirements.

    The deadline for Spring 2025 adoptions is November 22, 2024 for compliance with Florida Statutes.

    Changes to Spring 2025 instructional materials adoptions made after the deadlines posted above are out of compliance with UF Regulation 7.049 and Florida Board of Governors Regulation 8.003.

    In order to facilitate timely ordering of materials by the UF Bookstore, please submit summer and fall adoptions early, by October 29, 2024.

    Knowledge of course textbook and materials requirements helps students balance their course loads based on reading demands and financial needs - including the purchasing of books.

    Timely entry of this information also provides students with the best opportunity to sell books back at higher prices.  Bookstores typically will not offer to buy back texts unless the text is listed as being used the next semester.

    Timely posting of textbook adoptions has the strong support of the student body, and it is a law in Florida Statutes.  UF students continue to endorse the availability of textbook information online and have indicated it aids in course selection.
